Key Products

The products that Pharmasav sources are based on their market potential and in the main tend to be food supplements. These are available for sale on an "own label" basis or as a Pharmasav brand. The products may or may not require registration in specific countries and if registration is required, Pharmasav will provide product specific data to assist with the process.

UK & EU Regulatory Environment

The regulatory environment in Europe relating to food and food supplements is changing, and as highlighted, Pharmasav has provided detailed data to the European Food Standards Agency as part of the process to substantiate our evidence based claims of efficacy.

Pollen Aid

During 2007, Pharmasav was appointed as the UK agent for PollenAid by Graminex, a company based in United States of America.

Clinical evidence demonstrates the health benefits of PollenAid and further details can be found on the www.graminex.com website.

Health claims to support PollenAid's use in the maintenance of normal urinary function, and prostate health have been included in the UK's Article 13 list submiited to the EFSA in July 2008, following review by the European Commission.

TAM for Menopause

TAM was specifically developed for women at the peri- and post-menopause stages in their lives.

TAM is based on natural plant products containing Phytoestrogens - metabolites found naturally which interact with the oestrogen receptors in the woman’s body. The product has already helped many menopausal women face each day with renewed energy and vigor. A UK consumer study demonstrated that 94% of women saw significantly improved wellbeing with 93% enjoying increased energy/reduced fatigue. 86% of women in this study found an improvement in emotional wellbeing and 83% noted a very welcome improvement in sleep.

Researched and developed in the Far East, TAM is currently manufactured at a cGMP facility in Asia that carries certification from NSF International, demonstrating its compliance with “GMP Requirements in NSF/ANSI Standard 173, Section 8: Dietary Supplements”. European and North American markets will shortly be supplied with product manufactured at an ISO9002 appproved site based in the UK, which also holds a full manufacturing licence from the UK’s Medicines Control Agency.

Health claims to support TAM’s use in the menopause have been included in the UK’s Article 13 candidate list submitted to the EFSA in July 2008, following review by the European Commission.

Further work and studies are being undertaken with a view to bringing access to this exciting product to the rest of the world. Suitable overseas distributors are currently being sought.
